Actual adaptation range

This parameter displays which of the six adaptation ranges the engine is in.

B5244S/S2/S6, Model year 2003-

Area	Load	Driving conditions
1	0.2 g/rev	Downhill deceleration without fuel shut-off.
2	0.3 g/rev	Idle to 40 km/h.
3	0.5 g/rev	Steady at approximately 70-90 km/h on a flat road.
4	1.1 g/rev	Higher speeds, acceleration.
5	1.5 g/rev	Full load.
6	2.0 g/rev	Will not be adapted.

NOTE:

Note that the air conditioning (A/C) compressor increases the load by approximately 0.05g per RPM. The use of the A/C compressor often results in a change of adaptation area.

HINT: The adaptations are weighted between the values of each adaptation point in an adaptation area.
