Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information ECM-9200

Condition 

The steering wheel module (SWM) checks the signals from the buttons on the cruise control.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-9200 is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the steering wheel module (SWM) registers a fault in any of the signals from the cruise control.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-9200 can be diagnosed when the engine is running.

This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is not stored on its own. Fault trace the steering wheel module (SWM).

Substitute Value 

• The cruise control is disengaged when the fault is active.

Possible Source 

• Fault in one of the buttons for cruise control
• Defective steering wheel module (SWM).

• Cruise control does not function at all.
