Checking the power supply and ground terminals

Check the ABS control module connector for, see Contact resistance and oxidation .

Check fuse 11/9 in the fusebox in the passenger compartment.

NOTE: If the fuse is blown, check the circuit after the fuse for a short-circuit to ground before replacing the fuse. Then replace the fuse.

Check the power supply cable between fuse 11/9 and the control module for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Also check the wiring between control module terminals #A8 and #A24 and ground terminal 31/95. Check for, see Contact resistance and oxidation . Check for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults .

Remedy as necessary.
