Control Module Relay Box (2012): Removal

Check according to: DIAGNOSTICS/VEHICLE COMMUNICATION /Advanced/CEM/Checking communication and control module in VIDA. VIDA is Volvo-specific scan tool.

Perform battery disconnecting and connecting, see BATTERY DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING

Remove glove compartment, see GLOVE COMPARTMENT

CAUTION:

The instrument cluster and generic electronic module (GEM) must only be removed and new ones installed and loaded with software one at a time.

NOTE:

Make sure that the component terminals are not bent or damaged.
