Connecting Breakout Box

• Ignition off
• To expose connector for Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT):

Connect breakout box 9511428 and cable 9511499 to the adapter 9513021 (or 9512977).

Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT) 

• Disconnect the 4-pin connector that supplies Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT), this is to avoid that diagnostic trouble codes are generated when the adapter is connected to the 14-pin connector.
• Connect adapter 9513021 (or 9512977) to the control module's 14-pin connector.
• For the connector, #1- #14 correspond to #1-#14 on the breakout box.
• Reinstall the 4-pin connector for power supply of Power Operated Tailgate Module (POT).
