Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ICM-U001048

Condition 

The control module checks the communication with the Central electronic module (CEM). The DTC is generated in the event of a fault with initiation of the communication on the intermediate speed CAN bus in the Infotainment control module (ICM).

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Activated control module.

Possible Source 

• Internal fault in the Infotainment control module (ICM).

• Audio other/Audio unit (complete) does not work
