Checking Hard Disk.

Integrated Audio Module (IAM) diagnostic test for navigator's hard drive can be run when a self-test of the control module has been started. A fault code is set if the self-test detects a fault. To start self-test and check fault codes belonging to the navigator's hard drive, proceed as follows:

• Click on the VCT2000 symbol in VIDA (Volvo scan tool) to start self-test of the control module.
• Go to the tab DIAGNOSTICS/DETAILS and click on Update to perform a new fault code read-out.
• Go to the tab DIAGNOSTICS/TROUBLESHOOT and check if fault codes belonging to the navigator's hard drive have been set.
• Fault-trace according to diagnostic trouble code (DTC) instructions.
