Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information RSE-B125E4A

Condition 

Rear seat entertainment module (RSE) checks that compatible screen is installed.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The screen's serial number cannot be read within 25 seconds.
• The screen's serial number cannot be found in the list of approved serial numbers.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Engine running for at least 30 seconds.
• Control module supplied with power.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Left screen has an invalid serial number.

If DTC RSE-B125E4A is stored together with DTC RSE-B125E95 the cause of the fault may be one of the following:

• Open-circuit on the local CAN network.
• Short circuit to ground or voltage on the local CAN network.
