Checking Equipment And Software Configuration

The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) detects that the components are connected to the control module. The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is not configured for this component. The fault has two possible causes:

• The components must not be connected.
• The supplemental restraint system module (SRS) is not configured for this component but should be.

Check that the vehicle's physical equipment corresponds with the vehicle's software configuration (CarConfig).

In case of this defect, troubleshooting is not followed by verification.
