Diagnostic Trouble Code Information PSCM-U30004B

Condition 

monitors the control module's internal temperature.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The temperature is higher than 125 °C.
• Incorrect value runs longer than 1 second.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Ignition switch position II.

Possible Source 

• Damaged Power Steering Control Module (PSCM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Text window and warning symbol/Yellow symbol and text message
• Power steering control does not function
