Text Message In The Driver Information Module (Dim)

HINT: By holding in the trip odometer reset button for 10 seconds the text ID for the relevant text message is displayed in the Driver Information Module (DIM). 

• Turn the ignition key to position II.
• Depress the trip odometer reset button.

  Hold the button depressed until the relevant text ID is displayed in the Driver Information Module (DIM).

• Scroll between the messages in the Driver Information Module (DIM) by pressing the READ button.

  Search for the text message related to the key, the ignition or steering column lock.

Select an alternative below according to the relevant text ID: 

1. Text ID 162.

   Refer to CHECK THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FOR TEXT ID 162 

2. Text ID 166.

   Refer to CHECK DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS) FOR TEXT ID 166 

3. Text ID 251.

4. Text ID 252.
