Check The Steering Wheel Module (SWM)

• Ignition off.
• Disconnect the connector for the steering wheel module (SWM).
• Remove the key from the ignition switch.
• Insert the key in the ignition switch.

  Turn the ignition key to start position (key position III).

Can the vehicle be started? 

• YES 

  Refer to REPLACING THE STEERING WHEEL MODULE (SWM) 

• NO 

  Refer to CHECKING THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
