Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information IAM-4003
Condition
The Integrated Audio Module (IAM) checks the signal in the signal cable from the microphone.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The signal is too high in the signal cable from the microphone.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Activated control module.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

Possible Source
- Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable between the microphone and the control module.
