Checking The Component

The infotainment control module (ICM) has registered that the traffic message channel module (TMC) is invalid according to the list stored in the central electronic module (CEM).

The cause of the fault is probably that software has not been downloaded or that the download failed after replacing the traffic message channel module (TMC).

HINT: When downloading software after replacing a control module, the serial number of the control module is stored in the central electronic module (CEM). This is so that the Security function on MOST can approve the control module in the MOST network in the car. 

Try replacing the traffic message channel module (TMC) if the fault remains after the software is downloaded.

Remedy as necessary.
