Checking The Component

The infotainment module (ICM) has registered loss of communication with the integrated audio module (IAM).

If the fault is intermittent it will have been registered on an earlier occasion but is no longer present. Intermittent faults can arise when the integrated audio module (IAM) is started or may be of another kind that can occur at different times. Assessment of the fault is made from case to case.

In the case of a permanent fault, change the integrated audio module (IAM).

Remedy as necessary.
