Checking The Component And Wiring

Check the cables at control module connector A for the internal microphone. Check for a short-circuit to ground.

Check between:

• terminals #15 (#15) and #14 (#14)
• terminals #15 (#15) and #13 (#13)
• terminals #15 (#15) and #6 (#6).

Try replacing the microphone if the cables are OK.

Remedy as necessary.
