Checking The Component

The infotainment module (ICM) has registered that the integrated audio module (IAM) is invalid according to the list stored in the central electronic module (CEM).

The cause of the fault is probably that no software has been downloaded or that software downloading has failed after integrated audio module (IAM) replacement.

HINT: During software download after control module replacement, the control module serial number is stored in the central electronic module (CEM). This allows the Security on MOST function to approve the control module in the vehicle MOST network. 

If the fault persists after software download, try replacing the integrated audio module (IAM).

Remedy as necessary.
