Initializing Seat Module, Left (PSL)

• Ignition on.
• Check that nothing prevents the seat's movement during initialization.
• At initiation of motor 1, the seat must be at least 5 cm from the rear end-position.
• At initiation of motor 2, the backrest must be at least 10 cm from the front end-position.

Initiation takes place in two steps. One for initiation of the seats' motor fore-aft (M1) and one for the seat's motor in the backrest (M2).

Initialize the seat by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol in VIDA (Volvo scan tool).

Verify initialization by checking that the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is no longer stored in the control module.

• YES 

  Refer to INITIALIZING SEAT MODULE, RIGHT (PSR) 

• NO 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.
