Condition

The trailer module (TRM) checks internal functions in the control module.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module registers an internal fault.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed in ignition positions 0, I, II and III.

• Incorrect programming of the trailer module (TRM)
• Fault in the trailer module (TRM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Faulty function of trailer lamps
• The information lamp is lit
• Message in the display.
