Condition

The control modules in the car continually transmit and receive information via the data network (control area network). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the brake control module (BCM) registers that the network configuration ID is incorrect.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

Substitute Value 

• Traction Control is blocked
• Stability Control is blocked
• Active yaw control is blocked.

HINT:  BRAKE SYSTEM, ABBREVIATIONS 

Possible Source 

• Fault in the signal database between the brake control module (BCM) and the central electronic module (CEM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The ABS warning lamp is lit
• The warning lamp for brake circuit not functioning is lit
• The warming lamp for traction control function is lit
• Traction control does not function
• The stability control system does not function.
