Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-6C50

HINT: The diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are included in a larger fault-tracing for the symptom Starter motor not running. 

The steering column lock is checked by the steering column lock module (SCL). The unit is part of the start inhibiting system. In order for the unit to work, it must be programmed with a number of codes.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) receives a message from the steering column lock module (SCL) that the steering column lock module (SCL) is not programmed.
