HINT: The diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are included in a larger fault-tracing for the symptom Starter motor not running. 

The steering column lock is checked by the steering column lock module (SCL).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM), when attempting communication, does not receive an answer from the steering column lock module (SCL).

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the power supply to the steering column lock module (SCL).

Fault symptom[s] 

• The steering column lock cannot be locked / unlocked
• The starter motor does not turn
