Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-Dd1C
Condition
When the alarm is activated the Central electronic module (CEM) regularly checks communication with the Siren control module (SCM).
The diagnostic trouble code is stored if the control module detects:
- The article number in the Siren control module (SCM) does not correspond with what the Central electronic module (CEM) expects.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Control module supplied with power.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

The Siren control module (SCM) must not be replaced if the siren's function is OK.
