The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the central electronic module (CEM) registers that communication with the rain sensor module (RSM) is not operating.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed with the ignition in positions I or II.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the power supply to the rain sensor module (RSM)
• Open-circuit in the ground lead to the rain sensor module (RSM)
• Contact resistance in the terminals
• Rain sensor module (RSM) not functioning.

Fault symptom[s] 

• No rain sensor function.
