The parameter indicates the status of the damper motor module (DMM) when the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) was stored.

The climate control module (CCM) receives the information via LIN communication.

Incorrect status 1 = faulty hall sensor in the stepper motor.

Incorrect status 2 = fault when storing the position of the stepper motor.

Incorrect status 3 = unexpected stop when operating the stepper motor.

Incorrect status 4 = over voltage or overheating in the stepper motor.

Incorrect status 5 = communication fault on LIN bus.

Incorrect status 6 = hardware fault in the driver circuit.

Incorrect status 7 = hardware fault in the driver circuit.
