Checking The Control Module

• Ignition off.
• Reconnect the connectors, reinstall components etc.
• Ignition on.
• Turn the steering wheel to the limit position in both directions.
• Read off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

If the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is intermittent, this means that the cause of the fault has been found. f the fault is permanent, replace the control module.
