Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information SWM-0A11
Condition
The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication interface - control area network (CAN) - to exchange information. The control modules transmit and receive information. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the steering wheel module (SWM) registers that the communication is disabled.
NOTE:
In the event of an SWM system communication fault, it is not possible to communicate with the control module for the steering wheel angle sensor. Therefore it will only be possible to read off the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) if the fault is intermittent.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) can be diagnosed when the ignition is switched on.

- The stability control system does not function.
