Calibrating The Position Sensor In The Control Module

Ignition on
Place the gear selector lever in neutral position (N).
Activate calibration of the position sensor in the transmission control module (TCM) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol in VIDA (Volvo scan tool).

CAUTION:
During calibration, it is important that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for the gear selector module (GSM) are stored and that the gear selector assembly is otherwise free of faults.
