Checking the connectors

Check the connector 54/3 and the transmission control module (TCM) connector. Check for contact resistance and oxidation. Remedy if necessary. Check for any damage.

HINT: If the fault cause is found, reinstall the components and connectors. If the fault cause is not found, do not reinstall the control module.
