Checking the Wiring

Remove horn relay 2/17 from the engine compartment relay base.

Check the relay coil driver circuit for a short-circuit to supply voltage: Measure the voltage between terminal #1 in the relay base and relay 2/17.

For further information about a short-circuit to supply voltage.

HINT: The voltage between terminal #2 and ground should be approximately 0 volt.
