Checking the connectors

Check connector 54/3 and the connector in the ABS control module. Check for contact resistance and oxidation according to Contact resistance and oxidation . Check for loose connections according to Loose connections (terminals) . Remedy if necessary.

Check for any damage.

HINT: If the fault cause is found, reinstall the components, connectors etc. 

HINT: If the fault cause is not found, do not reinstall the ABS module.

Was a fault detected? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to Open-circuit in Control area network bus. High speed network. Intermittent fault
