Checking Functions

To check that identification and calibration rectified the fault, click VCT2000 and read out the expected and detected control modules/sensors. Check that all relevant units are present and that the customer symptoms that were present previously are now not present.

If a module is still missing, identify which one and replace it. After replacement, check whether the customer symptom remains.

If customer symptoms remain and all units are approved, continue with the next step of symptom fault-tracing.

To check that calibration rectified the fault, click VCT2000 and read off the range for the Damper motor module (DMM). Check that all units have the correct range and that the customer symptoms that were present previously are now not present.

If the range is still incorrect for any of the Damper motor modules (DMM), identify which control module it is and replace it. After replacement, check whether the customer symptom remains.

If customer symptoms remain and all units are approved, continue with the next step of symptom fault-tracing.
