Reading Off Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCS)

This diagnostic trouble code is an event-controlled trouble code which is detected if output RPM is too low compared to input RPM from the engine side. The malfunction, which is the cause of the detection of the diagnostic trouble code, often has as a result that several diagnostic trouble codes are generated. top troubleshooting for this diagnostic trouble code, and troubleshoot other diagnostic trouble codes in Transmission control module (TCM).

• Ignition on.
• Click on the VCT2000 symbol in VIDA (Volvo scan tool) to read off the diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Are other diagnostic trouble codes stored? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO 

  Refer to CHECKING THE OIL QUALITY AND THE OIL LEVEL IN THE TRANSMISSION
