WASTEGATE Control Valve Adjustment

CHECKING OF VACUUM BOX

Remove the upper engine casing.

Remove the vacuum line from the variable turbo's vacuum box. Connect the vacuum pump. Use: see 9995843 and create underpressure of 49 cm/Hg (26 cm/Hg absolute pressure).

Measure the stroke length of the adjusting lever. If the vacuum box is intact, the stroke length should be between 11.6 and 12.8 mm, if it is not then the turbo unit should be replaced as shown: TURBOCHARGER (B5254T3; 2005-2007)

FITTING OF VACUUM HOSE

Install:

the vacuum hose on the vacuum box
the upper engine casing.
