Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PAC-U040268
Condition
This diagnostic trouble code (DTC) status is an event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC). An event controlled diagnostic trouble code (DTC) does not mean that there is a fault in the control module when it is active, but is designed as information.
The control module is continuously supplied with necessary information from Transmission control module (TCM) via CAN-communication. The control module checks the quality of the information coming from Transmission control module (TCM).
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Transmitting control module indicates a lower quality level of information than the parking assistance camera (PAC) module accepts.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
