The Phone module (PHM) checks the status of the lighting to the SOS On Call switch.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The control signal has incorrect value.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Ignition switch position I and II.
• Battery voltage between 9 - 16 V.

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the cable to the lighting for the SOS On Call switch.
• Short-circuit to voltage in the cable to the lighting for the SOS On Call switch.

• Volvo On Call/Other Volvo On Call problems
• Cellular phone/Other cellular phone problems
