Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information PHM-B116C09
Condition
The Phone module (PHM) registers the signal from the external SIM card holder.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- No signal from the external SIM card holder obtained.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Request from mechanic.
NOTE:
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.

- Contact resistance, oxidation or open-circuit in the terminals.
- Faulty SIM card reader.
- Incorrect SIM-card holder.
