Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information IAM-U300098

Condition 

The integrated audio module (IAM) checks its internal temperature.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The temperature is too high.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Activated control module.

Substitute Value 

• Switched off control module.

Possible Source 

• Ambient temperature too high.
• Power consumption too high in the control module.
• Damaged integrated audio module (IAM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Audio system does not function
