Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information BCM-U030051
Condition
From the supplier, the brake control module (BCM) is programmed with a special software to enable filling the brake system with hydraulic oil at installation in the factory. The software must, after installation of the Brake control module (BCM) in the vehicle, be overwritten with correct software.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- The software from the supplier is not overwritten.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code is stored when the conditions are met.
