Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information DEM-U041868
Condition
The Differential electronic module (DEM) monitors the information that comes from other control modules. The Brake control module (BCM) informs about the speed of each wheel, among other things. The information is used by the Differential electronic module (DEM) to control torque transfer to the rear axle.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
- Incorrect wheel speed values transmitted from the Brake control module (BCM).
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
- Ignition switch position II.
