Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-B10F196

Condition 

Central electronic module (CEM) checks communication with Start control module (SCU). When the remote key is inserted in Start control module (SCU) then switch key-i shall close.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• Start control module (SCU) cannot determine that the remote key is in the ignition within 10 seconds.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Inserting remote key in Start control module (SCU).

Possible Source 

• Internal error in the Start control module (SCU).
