Checking The Component

Check switch key-i in Start control module (SCU) by activating the tool.

The switch may not be activated when the remote key is not inserted in the ignition.

Insert the remote key in the ignition.

Status for switch key-i shall change.

Is the function OK? 

• YES 

  Refer to FAULT-TRACING INFORMATION 

• NO 

  Refer to REPLACING THE START CONTROL UNIT (SCU)
