Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information CEM-B102487

Condition 

Central electronic module (CEM) checks communication with Start control module (SCU).

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• Communication with Start control module (SCU) is lost.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Communication with Start control module (SCU).

Substitute Value 

• None.

Possible Source 

• Open-circuit in the power supply cable.
• Open-circuit in the ground lead.
• Open-circuit in the signal cable.

Fault symptom[s] 

• Starter motor does not operate
• Message in information display
