Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information ECM-P256702

Condition

Engine control module (ECM) communicates continuously with the radiator temperature sensor, located on the radiator. Communication takes place via the LIN-net and is done to ensure that the radiator is of the intended type for the vehicle.

The control module checks so that communication with the sensor is correct.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

NOTE: The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
