Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Information

Condition 

The Suspension module (SUM) retrieves calibration information from an internal memory in the control module.

The control module monitors read off from the memory.

The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:

• The memory contains incorrect information.

The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:

• Ignition switch position II.
• The test is carried out every other operating cycle. The Suspension module (SUM) defines an operating cycle as ignition on and ignition off.

Substitute Value 

• Deactivated Four-C function.

Possible Source 

• Internal memory fault in the Suspension module (SUM).

Fault symptom[s] 

• Message in information display
• Four-C function not working
