Removing Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor

Remove the preheating pipe from the air cleaner (ACL):Applies only to B6xx4S engines .

Remove the clamp on the hose between the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and the pipe to the turbocharger (TC)
Remove the turbocharger (TC) control valve from the air cleaner (ACL) housing
Disconnect the turbocharger (TC) control valve connector
Remove the air cleaner (ACL) housing. Place it to one side
Remove the hose clamp from the crankcase ventilation and the heater hose.

Hose bracket.

Disconnect the connector at the bracket

Remove the cable from the clamp on the cylinder block.

Remove the camshaft position (CMP) sensor housing.Applies only to B6xx4T engines .

Remove the sensor mounting screw. Pull off sensor.
