Checking Supply
Check passenger compartment fuse 4 (11C/4:2).
Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) connector #A1 and passenger compartment fuse 4 (11C/4:2). Check for an open-circuit. See OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS
If the fuse has blown, fault-trace for a short-circuit to ground. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS .
Check connector (54/24:1)
Check passenger compartment fuse 24 (11C/24:2)
Check the cable between power seat module (PSM) supply relay (2/29) #3 and passenger compartment fuse 24 (11C/24:2). Check for a short-circuit to ground. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS . Check for an open-circuit. See OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS .
Check that the relay is not defective.
Check the cable between the power seat module (PSM) connector terminal #B1 and power seat supply relay (2/29) #1. Check for a short-circuit to ground. See SHORT-CIRCUIT TO GROUND, PERMANENT FAULTS . Check for an open-circuit. See OPEN-CIRCUIT, PERMANENT FAULTS .
Remedy as necessary.
