Replacing The Component
CAUTION:
Avoid touching the pins in the control module and the corresponding connector on the cable harness. There is a risk of static discharge which could damage the control module. Discharge yourself and tools to be used by holding the tool's metal part and touching a body part on the car just before starting to work.
If the voltage is approx. 0 V on #D9 in Central Electronic Module (CEM) then the gear selector circuit is working. Malfunction may be found in Central Electronic Module (CEM).
Try replacing the central electronic module (CEM).
NOTE:
Before replacing the central electronic module (CEM) ensure that all other symptom tests have been carried out.
