Checking Control Modules
The Damper motor module (DMM) consists of a control unit and a stepper motor. The climate control system can have up to 5 Damper motor modules (DMM), the amount depends on the version of climate control system. These Damper motor module (DMM) control recirculation, defroster, temperature left/right and air distribution.
- Ignition switch position II.
To check which control module/sensors are part of vehicle configuration and of Climate control module (CCM) expected/detected control modules/sensors, click on the symbol for VCT2000.
If a control module is missing according to the car configuration, check that the control module is installed and correctly connected.
Read off which control module/sensors are on LIN bus 1 and 2 and compare them with the vehicle configuration.
The control modules and sensors that are to be included and which can be presented in the vehicle configuration can be read out from the tables below.
| Control module/sensor. | On LIN bus 1. |
| Damper motor module (DMM) air distribution. | Always. |
| Damper motor module (DMM) temperature left. | Always. |
