Installing The Steering Column
NOTE:
Lubricate the steering shaft friction surfaces and the steering column bearing. Use low temperature grease, P/N 1161417-9 (30 grams).
Lubrication is important to avoid noise from the steering column.
NOTE:
Check that the rear seat rails are undamaged.
Hook the steering column into the three guides.
Install the screws. Tighten to 25 Nm . Tighten the rear screw first.
